Originally from Buffalo, NY, Lindsay Shookus has always been endlessly curious about people—how to connect with them, what drives them, and how to help them feel seen, valued, and, above all, capable of more.

She won seven Emmy Awards during her twenty years behind the scenes at Saturday Night Live, where every week she helped a new host walk into the pressure cooker of live TV. “I had five days,” she often says, “to figure out who someone was, what they were great at, and how I could help them shine.” Whether working with musicians, celebrities, or rising stars, Lindsay became known for her ability to read people quickly, build trust fast, and bring out performances no one saw coming.

Today, she brings that same gift to her work as a speaker, producer, and coach—still creating and collaborating behind the scenes. With the clarity of a strategist, the compassion of a therapist, and the drive of a coach, she helps leaders navigate people challenges, make tough conversations easier, and move from intention to action. Her superpower? Making what feels hard seem suddenly very doable.

She’s also the cofounder of Women Work F#cking Hard, a community built to help women get better at helping other women—in business and beyond.

Lindsay lives in New York City with her daughter, loves a good dance party, and still roots hard for the Buffalo Bills—always.
